Monitoring Counsel and Program/Claims Administration

Furman Kornfeld & Brennan LLP assists Underwriters in connection with delegated authority matters, including managing general agents and underwriters (MGAs and MGUs). FKB handles claims and evaluates coverage under various MGA/MGU "binders" in order to protect Underwriters' interests and manage insurance programs.

Our lawyers provide coverage advice and supervise local defense counsel across the U.S. and in foreign jurisdictions. We also handle overall claims administration, including the settlement of claims under authority granted by our clients. We have a vast network of relationships with highly qualified defense counsel across the U.S. and in foreign jurisdictions, including the Virgin and Cayman Islands.

Central to FKB's ability to cost effectively manage claims and supervise defense counsel is FKB's own extensive experience in litigating claims through to resolution, including to trial.
