On November 23, 2010 Patrick J. Brennan and FKB associate Bryan J. Foley obtained a jury verdict in favor of a diagnostic laboratory in a claim involving alleged nerve and muscle damage following a venipuncture. The 27 year old plaintiff, a dance instructor, claimed pain and suffering, permanent nerve damage and economic loss from the venipuncture, alleging that an artery was damaged during the procedure, leading to a significant hematoma with resulting nerve damage and permanent disability. The case was tried in Tolland Superior Court in Rockville, Connecticut before Judge William Bright, Jr.
