Melissa A. Manning, is an associate attorney practicing in the areas of legal malpractice, miscellaneous professional liability and insurance coverage litigation. Ms. Manning has successfully defended attorneys, insurance agents and brokers and other professionals against professional liability claims.

Ms. Manning graduated cum laude from Clemson University in 2002. In 2005, Ms. Manning graduated cum laude from New York Law School where she was an associate editor of the New York Law School Law Review and a John Marshall Harlan Scholar. As a Harlan Scholar, Ms. Manning was affiliated with the Center for New York City Law.

Prior to joining Furman Kornfeld & Brennan LLP in 2008, Ms. Manning represented insurers in complex reinsurance coverage matters and practiced insurance defense litigation, defending general liability, product liability and professional liability claims.

Ms. Manning is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and New Jersey.
